Galleries and Art
Spaces

Anchored by the airy warehouse space of the Delavan Gallery, the
popular Everson Museum, and SUArt Galleries’ six distinct venues
just up the hill, the local gallery scene is loaded with opportunity
for the serious artist, not-so-serious spectators, and everyone in
between. Nearly two dozen art galleries around the area offer
collections, exhibits and displays for every taste. For the
schedule minded, Th3 opens more than a dozen city galleries the third
Thursday of each month

Music and
Performances

Syracuse has long
been the hotbed for great music and theater. With a rich history in
jazz, R&B, and alternative rock music. Today we have over twenty
organizations dedicated to bringing music and theater to Syracuse
residents every single day. Whether it be an intimate poetry ready,
to a 3000 person concert, to a Broadway caliber performance; we have
it all.

Lakes and Parks

What makes us stand
out from so many other mid-size cities across the county? Where else
can you drive ten miles in any direction and be on kayaking on
beautiful lakes, climbing mountains, fishing in streams, and
cross-country skiing all winter long? Come to a place that has the
best of both worlds. Enjoy the city, but escape easily to the peace
of nature.

Universities

Looking to hone your
skills further? Maybe you’re hoping to take up a new career or
simply a hobby? Either way, in the Central New York area, we have
over 30 colleges and universities. In the greater Syracuse area
alone we have more than 10. Several of the schools have world-renown
faculty and an amazing array of majors and foci.
